MY STORMY SUNDAY READING LIST

It's absolutely chucking it down! It's a bit drizzly. There's a least one cloud in the sky and it looks a smidge menacing. Maybe it's even totally glorious outside but hey, a Sunday spent wrapped up in a good book is my kind of Sunday.

These three are my latest favourites and now that I've written them down, I realise that this post called also be called THREE BOOKS THAT BEGIN WITH 'THE', though that's maybe not so catchy?





THE PLUS ONE, Sophia Money-Coutts
This is the story of Polly, who writes for Posh! magazine and bags herself an unlikely love interest in the shape of playboy aristocrat Jasper. Thoroughly delicious and a little bit oh la la to boot... I loved it and cannot wait for Sophia's second book, which lands this summer.

THE WIVES, Lauren Weisberger
Emily from The Devil Wears Prada is back again, only her dazzling career is being threatened by a new kid on the block. So she sets off on a mission to save a high-profile friend-in-need, and herself in the process. Fast-paced and kick-ass.

THE SEVEN DEATHS OF EVELYN HARDCASTLE, Stuart Turton
A definite change of pace to the first two, this is a murder mystery with a gripping twist. I found it so unsettling at first that I couldn't read it before bed (I'm so cool) but it wasn't long before I was all in, bedtime jitters be damned.
